What we learned - The NFL still hates the lions and SOL is back with a vengeance.
Detroit Lions playoff odds dropped to 6% after an excruciating loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16 at Ford Field. Here's what we learned. bit.ly/49mBL90

Btw we are 100 percent officially BACK in SOL land. This stuff didn't happen for the past two years and this year it's all come roaring back.

Pretty sure this is the end of my nfl watching. The calls that have gone against the lions the past 4-5 weeks have been amazing. Two tds off the board in 15 seconds to end the season is just ludicrous.

Racist. Nothing else to describe this.

Sex rejecting procedures sounds more like what wimpy-ass Republican men accidently do every time they try to meet women.
The Trump administration is attempting to force a new term for gender affirming care to call it "sex rejecting procedures." This term was literally made up this year by the far right group Ethics and Public Policy Center in a comment submitted in April 2025. It is now being used widely by HHS.

How dumb does he think people are. Landlords are counting the flights out and lowering rent $10 for every person deported? This is absolutely inane.
Vance: "Why have rents gone down for 4 consecutive months? Because we're starting to get those illegal aliens out of the USA. Those criminals, those gang members, those people that are taking homes that ought by right go the people in this room. It's simple economics."

Fuck this guy right to hell. And if you voted for this sack of human feces and aren't yet on an apology tour to your friends and family, you need to seriously relook at your life.

Texas A&M may have pulled off the biggest upset in college sports period. Nebraska was among the most dominant NCAA teams in memory. This wasn't App State over UM because UM want anywhere near the team Neb was. AM coach was so great to hear during the set and after, his belief in his team.
December 14, 2025 at 11:21 PM
Didn't expect the type of shitty reactions from Pitt fans I'm seeing after Neb lost. Not saying don't be happy but telling coaches and players to "eat shit" and bringing back up stuff from 2 years ago that very publicly caused a college athlete to question their own life is embarrassing. Be better.

Murray 10 kills, but Alleck and Landfair both with a quiet 5 apiece & Jackson hitting negative. Nebraska has all season rightly trumpeted their offensive balance. Right now they need SOMEONE to step up outside of Murray on offense. They actually have one more kill than A&M but it's night and day.

LOVE A&M coach's parting word after set 2 "we're good enough".
December 14, 2025 at 9:08 PM
Harper Murray and the Husker passers are the only constants for Nebraska right now. Reilly doing what she can but not able to find the right offensive strategy to unblock the Huskers.
December 14, 2025 at 9:04 PM
A&M's serving may be what gets attention now but they are attacking the Husker block, getting lots of tools. Not afraid to hit at Jackson and co. They also aren't afraid of the Husker middles, completely sitting down Jackson and at least not letting Aleck beat them. Murray may need to take over here

Nebraska may well come back to win this match, but the way A&M dominated the back half of set one is alarming. Nebraska had no answers before Ogbechie came in and delivered two kills. They can't win this match just being "Nebraska", like they have much of the year. They've got a fight.

The fight against creative AI is a noble one indeed, but seeing things like this we've already lost. Because for all the talk on here, there are 10 14 years olds using Sora every day to play pranks on their friends. It's over.

This is for the people who just irrationally hate solar panels... 3% of the land. I believe across the US near 50% of the corn grown is for fuel not food, and in many states that number is 60%.
"Corn ethanol requires millions of acres that could instead be used for food crops or more efficient energy sources. One recent study found that solar panels can generate as much energy as corn ethanol on roughly 3% of the land."
Corn’s clean-energy promise is clashing with its climate footprint
Corn dominates U.S. farmland and fuels the ethanol industry. But the fertilizer it relies on drives emissions and fouls drinking water.

Posted this two weeks ago and maaaannnnn tonight proves this out. This Iowa game has been a whistle fest. It's embarrassing for the B1G.
Here's my fear after tonight. There's no way in he// a B1G game would be called like this. There would be 60 fouls called and we would have been double bonus about 5 minutes into the second half. Msu fully out toughed Kentucky. Will they be allowed to do that in B1G play?

Stuff like this doesn't help the creeping feeling of SOL that's cast a shadow over the team the past serval weeks.
