The Diamond OAJ ournal @phimisci.bsky.social received metrics for the first time. Sure metrics are not the whole story, but its amazing to see them directly behind Philosophy of Science, and ahead of Phenomenology and the Cognitive Science SJR Value! Lets keep pushing OA Philosophy!

There is a citation style that I am increasingly seeing in publications. It consists in putting all references in footnotes in the Author Date format, with a reference list at the end of the document. I like it a lot, it allows for smooth reading without sacrifing references. How is it called?

If phenomenal consciousness is an illusion does that destroy ethics or extend it? A great article by @keithfrankish.bsky.social linking two deep #Sentientism themes... philosophy of mind (what is consciousness?) and the extension of moral scope way beyond humanity.

@eschwitz.bsky.social on a recent paper of mine
A critique of @lovingautomaton.bsky.social's "illusionism" about phenomenal consciousness. He thinks that "phenomenal consciousness" relates to nonphysicality as "wizard" relates to spellcasting. I think it's more like "king" and divine mandate to rule.
