Yesterday we delivered a @38degrees.bsky.social petition with @louisehaighmp.bsky.social signed by over 92,000 to 10 Downing Street, calling on the government to end the misuse of NDAs.

After 6 years of reviews there’s no excuse left. With a govt supporting workers’ rights, the time is now.

I have reached over 92,000 signatures on my petition to get NDAs banned in the workplace.

If you haven’t signed my petition already, please share with your friends and family.

Employers are still using NDAs to silence victims of harassment and abuse at work.

These legal gag orders protect abusers and hide wrongdoing instead of supporting victims and tackling toxic workplaces.

Right now, the Employment Rights Bill is making its way through Parliament. This is our chance.

Great to see Sheffield Council engaging positively with World Snooker about the future of the Crucible.

Sheffield is the home of the snooker and we want to see its proud legacy championed for decades to come.

Really pleased that the Govt will consider our amendment to the Employment Rights Bill on banning Non Disclosure Agreements in cases of abuse, harassment, sexual misconduct or discrimination.

The misuse of NDAs has become widespread in protecting abusers and silencing victims.

Absolutely devastated that Dorothy Pax has announced its closure.

A brilliant small venue that over the years has nurtured talent and contributed to Sheffield's thriving creative scene.

Sadly one more reason why we should support the @musicvenuetrust.bsky.social campaign for a small venue levy.

So sad to hear of the passing of Dame Julie Kenny.

She was a true champion of South Yorkshire’s businesses and the arts and it was a privilege to work with her on tackling violence against women and girls.

Thoughts are with her family and all those that loved her.

Brilliant to hear the Chancellor's support to reopen Doncaster Sheffield Airport.

The last government sat back and allowed it to close but our Labour Mayor and councils are working with govt to protect jobs and grow South Yorkshire’s economy.
