Today I learnt about one of humanity's worst inventions: the clutch head screw - which you can put in but not take out. Very secure. Very, very inconvenient if you do need to remove it for non-stealing-things reasons. Thank goodness for YouTube DIY videos.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Given the enormity of public protests in the UK, I feel Starmer’s support for Israel, particularly banning Palestine Action, deserved a mention in this article. Both have contributed massively to a surge in support for @zackpolanski.bsky.social ‘s Greens.
