This said, I'm only really speaking from experience with a couple devices: my old Sony WH-1000XM4 cans, and my partner's bluetooth speakers that I used for a short while between other speakers, both via Windows, so mileage will definitely vary

It's "fine" with varying amounts of "one device has stolen the headphones from another device" and "audio quality is crunchy because two devices are sharing the connection simultaneously"

Pair them to a single device and find a way to keep audio "awake" constantly, and you'll probably find bluetooth to be fine 99% of the time.
