Tomorrow would have been my mom's birthday. It always falls near Thanksgiving which makes this holiday even harder to get through alone. Combined with the *gestures vaguely*, its been pretty tough recently.

Been listening to some Elton John tonight. Reminiscing on how my dad used to bast his Elton records almost every weekend...
until he found out Elton was gay. Then he switched to Boston. Good music either way, regardless of the old bigot's opinions.

Pro tip: don't use alder cones in a micro tank unless you really like the look of swamp water. Its not harmful at all, just ugly. Poor Herbie is lost somewhere in there... 🐌
Ive removed the cone and added extra carbon to fix it. In the meantime I have a new mirror!
