that's me, in the late 90s.

I love the cold dark clutch of grey sullen Chicago winter
I mean, I have a disposable income. I'm going to dispose of it in ways that suit me.

Fees & costs are not about restitution—they are not even fines. You can make reasonable arguments about fines as a possible means of creating justice. Fees & costs as they exist about furthering a (racists, classiest) predatory purpose of our legal system.

If you want public health breakthroughs for cities, you need other traffic calming elements, too, like lots of bumpouts and raised crosswalks. Hoboken, NJ, went all in on this and HAS NOT HAD A TRAFFIC CRASH DEATH IN LIKE NINE YEARS. THERE'S YOUR PUBLIC HEALTH BREAKTHROUGH, BUDDY.

I did not know they could not test whether viral or bacterial! So I would not know how to navigate the antibiotics Q. BUT if they can make you less miserable in ways a drug store can't, I'd go!

What's the treatment if the doctor decides against antibiotics? Is there a prescription nasal spray or something they can do to make you comfortable? In that case, I definitely go sooner.

We have reported our neighbors every snowfall since we have lived here for failure to clear their walk. 18 years in, they have never ONCE cleared their walk.

We're not perfect (it's a small building w/ no maintenance staff), but we're not going on 20 years w/out once clearing the walk.

I have not donated to AIDS orgs since the early 2000s. But all the information I was reading on World AIDS day yesterday has me re-upping that support but I need to pick a global org.
