this is so benign but I have to put down a book if the author goes overboard to make sure we know a main character has a british accent 😭 like please

Any authors/artists feeling weird about doing self-promotion right now: I'm actually kind of begging you to bring some of your unique creation to my timeline.
Not just as a distraction, but because art is a tool for building empathy--it's the way we learn to see the world through other eyes.
