Using the metahuman live link webcam to drive the blendshapes in this goblin. Be really good for fast animation iteration 😀 Happy with the results so far, it'll be interesting for the rest of the body. #indiedev #unrealengine #ue5 #gamedev

Adding jiggle physics/bones, entirely within #UE5.
Added extra bones. Weight painted, and then slapped on some SLERP, all without leaving the editor. #gamedev #UnrealEngine #indiedev

Why is drag/drop in Widgets still so clunky? Click handling could be way better, prevent click, and don't even get me started on the lack of tap-drag for accessibility. On the bright side, I've managed to recreate some of Minecraft's functionality for my own inventory! #UnrealEngine #UE5 #GameDev

Should pressing up/down on the D-pad move with the camera’s direction or the world/tileset direction? It’s for a top-down roguelite — mouse handles aiming/attacks, somewhat like Hades. Thoughts? #gamedev #unrealengine

Got a little too into prototyping my #Cyberdeck — built on a

Trying out making my own objective markers, things to add include offsets and group visibility, like combat objectives, quests, etc. got things like offscreen arrows going and distance tags, went way too indepth, but it's a good experience so far #unrealengine #ue5 #gamedev

*"It's been 84 years"* Diving back into personal site #webdev! Even integrated my #Bluesky feed—shocking how easy it is with no API tokens needed for public data. So refreshingly simple. lit.ruv.wtf
