Had numerous (mostly male) patients who lacked insurance or copay $, and planned to "wait until 65 when they got Medicare" to see a doctor about symptoms. They'd have an MI or stroke, or die of cancer at 63, 64.
If we had universal coverage and took care of people Medicare wouldn't cost so much.

They show that Todd Blanche's questioning of Maxwell was either (a) completely incompetent; or (b) intentionally crafted not to elicit facts incriminating Trump.
Either way, he is not fit to serve as Deputy Attorney General.

This sounds reasonable but is 100% wrong. Whether you or agree or disagree with a study is completely immaterial. What matters is whether the study was conducted properly and generates valid results. And it's impolitic to say but it's true: you have to have some level of expertise to judge that.

Oh and by the way, we've had roughly 2M federal employees since the 1940s though our population has more than doubled.
Kind of wild that while food assistance was withheld from millions of families, one Trump-supporting billionaire (Ellison) saw his net worth grow more this year than the entire SNAP budget. And the YTD gains of the other four richest men would’ve fully covered salaries for all 2M federal employees.
