National media should really be covering the fact thay every major school, museum, and arts institution in the Twin Cities, and hundreds of local businesses are closed tomorrow to protest federal occupation.

100% this. It's the anti-YouTube, and won't start auto-playing weird ads like even many tiers of Disney+ will now. Gutting PBS Kids funding while Google and YouTube roll on, ever more infected by ads and AI-generated content, is quite a telling reflection of our times here.
The PBS Kids app is one of the few things you can trust your kids to play around with on a computer. All the shows that you can stream are good and entertaining. Nothing positive comes from getting rid of this, they're just trying to make life worse for everyone www.nytimes.com/2025/05/06/u...
