The British media have a lot to answer for, if they had done their jobs, asked Farage & Brexit supporting Tories the proper questions in 2016. If they had done their jobs rather than peddled, unchallenged, Russian propaganda, we would never have left the EU.

So... basically as predicted in 2016

Good to read that Labour is more openly critical of Brexit, but curious omission in this change of tack is that no-one mentions the pre-Referendum Treasury Analysis (April 2016) that exactly predicted the long term economic damage! (sigh)

This comes less than 72H after this piece by one of the core "Economists for Brexit" gang. (The rabble Patrick Minford is associated with.)

I wonder if the Right have figured out the best way to stomp on Labour is to rub their noses in their Brexit red lines maximalism?

Wow - this guy must be really, REALLY bad with money if an extra £208 per month will “ruin” his retirement.

Let’s take a look at his situation based on what he told the @Telegraph

Because this does NOT add up!

No, this is not a “poor pensioner” scrabbling around for pennies…

So it’s OK to dismiss someone *unfairly* if they haven’t been in post for six months?

OK, that’s better than two years (the present threshold courtesy of Duncan-Smith).

Now. Either ‘unfairly’ has been defined incorrectly in the legislation?

OR

Our lawmakers have no morals?

Possibly, both.

Molly Dineens In The Company Of Men (early 1990s) is on YouTube

Worth your while, with some decent footage of the British Army being bored, officer types and boys from the Valleys swigging tea and Captain Black slagging off Army policy

Not that these are clichés or anything

I used to get so fecked of with people who said "you IT folk are always on coffee breaks"

Meanwhile they all fecked off at 16:30 or 17:00 while I was often still there till at least 19:00 and got called during the night to fix things if there was a problem.

IT staff. Always undervalued

Good morning and welcome to Fish For Tea Friday

Take each day as it comes, and don’t stress if one day doesn’t go to plan.
The most important thing is simply to pick yourself up and try again.

What matters most is getting back on your feet.
