This morning, at 12:14, my lovely nan took her final breath in Morriston hospital.
She was 90 years old.
The nurses who cared for her in those final moments, along with the care and support they gave my family, are heroes.
The likes of Farage who attack them and the NHS are scumbags.

Farage is in a tricky position. Welcoming a defector who would likely start manoeuvring to succeed him risks displacing the 'psychodrama' to Reform (something Nigel has always been quick to quash).

Today’s U-turn on digital ID was on the cards from the day it was haphazardly announced without any narrative or strategy to bring those who opposed it on side. Its faults were clear: a colossal amount of time, money and effort for a product whose benefits were dubious at best.

This U-turn proves beyond all doubt that Labour announced their digital ID card scheme without a clue on how they would go about implementing it. Now is surely the moment for ministers to drop the proposals entirely and use the funds for something more useful.
