As easy as it is to highlight the individual errors, there are far too many talented players in this squad to justify these results. This is a continuation of a trend from last season. Teams figured us out the second time they played us, and Slot hasn’t been able to adjust.

VVD is fine with Salah’s comments. He’s only our club captain telling the club PR folks to “let the man speak” — clearly the senior players need to get their frustration off their chests, and letting Salah take all the bullets is because he has the most equity and leverage of any player in the team.

Slot has one good season and one bad season. People say to just be patient. When Salah has many good seasons and one mediocre season, people toss him away like trash. He's done a hell of a lot more for #LFC than Slot.
