LLMs do not understand, will not understand, and cannot ever understand information. It's a glorified search engine combined with auto-compete, and you should treat it as such. No matter how much LLM companies try to tell you their machines can think or reason, they cannot and will not.

If they don't want to be accused of kidnapping, then don't drag people out of cars & houses without warrants.

And if they don't want to be accused of being lawless, then start following the law.

State Dept. orders nonprofit libraries to stop processing passport applications
Pennsylvania Reps. Madeleine Dean and John Joyce have proposed bipartisan legislation that would allow nonprofit public libraries to continue to serve as passport acceptance.

Repeat after me:
An executive order is not a royal edict; it is not law. It is a direction to the executive branch as to how to carry out the law.

Also:
Key parts of Trump's last EO on elections have been stopped by federal courts, ruling that the President has no role to play in federal elections
Trump’s follow up post says he’s going to issue an executive order on voter ID.

“If we can't get it through Congress, there are Legal reasons why this SCAM is not permitted. I will be presenting them shortly, in the form of an Executive Order.”
