I agree, it would do that I'm sure; I'm just demonstrating the idiocy (if it were to happen) of stripping one kind of citizenship from an individual in a semi-autonomous region of a country where residents with that citizenship can automatically claim the citizenship of a neighbouring state.

Of course, in relation to NI, stripping someone of their British citizenship would immediately result in them claiming their automatic Irish citizenship if they are not already claiming it - or automatically making them solely Irish citizens if they were. Deportation under these conditions? 😆

18th century America was replete with foreign accents as all of them were foreigners! I think Washington's grandparents were from Ulster, having been planters there too. He never received the education his two older half brothers did in England so he may have sounded less European than they did.

Nope, GNI factors out foreign-owned income; GNI* (Modified GNI) is an Irish Central Bank invention & is touted as better than GNI & it is a modified measure as you say. I'm not sure as to what the difference is but in 2017 Irish GDP was 127% of GNI & 162% of GNI*. You'd probably want to study it up!

That's gross domestic product - GDP. GNP filters out the foreign income and factors in Irish generated income from abroad. Again, disposable income is income after tax and mandatory expenses. Strictly speaking medical insurance isn't mandatory like say a mortgage or rent but you could have a point.
