That's not all on me - the trapper found them and brought them in, my team brought them to my attention, and my director found the space to keep them. But I got to be a link in that chain by texting my director about how social they were. 🙂

She's a little over a year old, just by a couple months. 🙂

Legitimately the best way to avoid situations like this is to spay and neuter pets, and TNR community cats and ferals. If they don't have babies outside, then so many kittens aren't out there getting sick and malnourished. ❤️

She is a girl, she's about 3m old but under 2lbs, and has possible scabies on her little feets. 😕 She's gonna hang out at the shelter in quarantine most likely, I don't think we tend to foster out scabies cases.

I'm currently calling him/her Chassit bc they look like Chessie and Charlie and I'm a Dark Tower nerd so that was the first name combination that came to mind, lol.

For real though, my amusement aside, this is legit what needs to happen to help community and stray cat populations: the community itself working together. I can't easily hold baby overnight, but I CAN bring baby to the shelter in the morning. Neighbor can hold but not transport.

Aw, thank you! He's our spoiled old man and pretty much gets whatever he wants. ❤️ Except we're not going to get rid of the other cats, which I think he'd like some days.
