And a special stray baby at work. He got a little chewed on by a dog, but the dog's human got them separated and brought him to us. He's a sweet little fighter and healing well so far. ❤️ You can't see it here, but he has a honey wrap bc medical grade honey is legitimately great for some things.

Hamlet last night. He'd worked his way up to lying on my back and shoulder, not comfortable for me but very cute, and apparently saw a ghost when I tried to get a picture.
Awkward photo taken with the selfie camera of my phone, over my shoulder as I'm curled up in bed under a blue comforter. An ear tipped black cat is laying on a lump that is my shoulder and back. He's staring at the ceiling with huge eyes and a concerned look on his face.

She also curled up nicely in my lap for a bit, before Calvin charged onto the porch at 90 mph and scared her into her cubby.

Little blurry bc he was in motion, but this handsome man is Lasher. He loves swatting at people from inside his kennel, and is one of our kitties about to be transported to a shelter with more space! Transport partners are amazing in rescue, and can help so much. ❤️

All I have for today's cat content is Chessie and Claudius kissing over a churu. (Video: Porch cam. I'm sitting on the floor of my enclosed porch. An ear tipped tux and ear tipped brown/grey tabby with white are balancing front paws on either side of my lap and trying to lick the same churu treat.)

I do eventually decorate for the holidays. Excuse the desk clutter, this is my Monday morning lol.
A cluttered desk with a partial cubicle around the back of it. There are overhead storage cupboards at the top. On top of those are various black cat Christmas plushies, a sign saying "Have yourself a spooky little Christmas," a figurine of Santa feeding stray dogs, some retro looking wooden deer standees, and artwork of a black cat wearing deer antlers and a Christmas hat. There are retro style Christmas magnets on the doors of the storage cupboards. The screensaver for the laptop and additional monitor is an ear tipped tuxedo cat with her tongue out.

And YouTube confirms I have interests other than cats sometimes. And it's SCP's. I'm sure that's very normal of me. (Channel does also do non SCP videos which are quite good. But a LOT of SCP videos.)
I'm in the top 2% of viewers of The Exploring Series YouTube channel. Watched 152 videos, which is low if they don't count rewatches, lol.

So that's like the third year in a row of the same top two Spotify songs. It's my reset song when I need a second at work, lol.

A year ago today I started working with my little feral murder baby who, unbeknownst to me, would end up as a part of my little colony at home. She's still mostly feral, but I can pet her and pick her up now. ❤️
Tiny baby Chessie! She's still a smol scared and angry kitten in this picture. About 2 months old or so, tuxedo, and curled up at the back of her shelter kennel with next-level airplane ears pasted to the sides of her little head, glaring.

One of the little cuties that we were able to keep instead of sending for TNR last week. ❤️ Her brother is a little disaster of an orange tabby who likes climbing shirts, so it's hard to get a good pic of him.

Sweet little girl was giving me purrs, I don't think the mic picked it up. This was right when I got her to work, before we realized she has scabies. She's quarantined and on an IV now, hoping she's feeling better soon with meds and fluids. 🤞(Vid description in next post.)
