136. Glad I snagged this ARC! Alban moves us into a new social circle with this book. A little slow to start, but ultimately sweet, moving, and affirming. Definitely pick it up if you've enjoyed the vibe of her other books. #booksky #queer #romance 📚❤️🏳️‍🌈

Went to a physical this morning. Walked out with a written report card of all As and a coupon to get an MRI just for funsies.

Just kidding, because none of that happens in real life.

Consent (and age of consent) is a boundary, but beyond that-- yes, give me spice!
As we continue into #Smutcember, it's important to know:

What is your spice comfort level? Does it vary between what you enjoy privately and what you're willing to share? Do you have hard boundaries for what you engage with?

And, I'm just saying, I would rather pay $1.99/mo for this than buy into Google's drive storage scam. 🙄
I just want to point out that there is a lane for someone to start a small media company whose express mission statement is "nothing we put on the internet was made by AI" & every time a category gets overrun like this, they branch out
NEW: AI “recipe slop” is overrunning search and social. Food creators say Google’s AI Overviews and glossy fake food pics are drowning out real, tested recipes — collapsing traffic and setting home cooks up for disaster, especially this Thanksgiving.

Anyone else's #google drive mysteriously hit the size limit after turning these AI features off? Just curious. 🙄
Gmail now shuts off spelling and grammar checks unless you agree to let them train their AI off your personal correspondence. Extortion at its finest. 🙄
If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Fully expecting my October #Storygraph stats to be trick more than treat. 😅 In my defense, I've had about three 500-page books on deck for this library challenge.
