Whoa, I've never posted the Draconis Wicked intro comic on Bluesky before. It's a short comic, meant to give a taste of the story to new readers.

If you haven't read my comic yet, but you've been thinking about it, give this a try.

After Thanksgiving, there are two kinds of households; the ones saying, "I wish we had more leftovers," and the ones saying, "Wow, we have too many leftovers."

If commercials are going to be a big part of streaming services, can we go back to having useful commercials? I want to know when movies are coming out, brief teasers for TV shows, or new restaurant meals I might like to try.
Please stop reminding me that major insurance companies exist. I am aware.

Scenes from Thanksgiving: A problem with being online more than your relatives means you are often the designated bearer of bad news.

From the people who brought you, "Oh, no! I have to explain to my cousins about JK Rowling" comes, "Oh, no! I have to explain to my cousins about Neil Gaiman."

There is a surprisingly thin line between "ha, ha, I can't keep houseplants alive" and "Oh no, I kept my plants alive too well and now they've become too powerful!"

Me at a restaurant: You know, I could save a lot of money by learning to make fried pickles at home.

"So, what kind of wire are thing going right now?"

"Oh, you know. Hay."

Oh, No, I don't think I posted my last two Draconis Wicked updates on Bluesky.

Here's last week's page: www.lepusstudios.com/comic/dw-ch1...

Here's the one before that:

It's #MeetTheWebcomic day, I haven't missed it!

I'm still making Draconis Wicked, a fantasy adventure with Saturday morning cartoon/video game RPG vibes.

Come follow along on the villain's henchman's quest.

It's kind of amazing how much dogs love food, considering how little they understand savoring.

Look, it's no fair to say "Simpson's predicted it" when they're clearly using one of the most famous episodes as their main inspiration.

Anyone else getting an above-average amount of scam emails posing as your web services (web hosts, email services, domain providers, etc.)?

Today's Email: "This is [domain provider] We hope this message finds you well."
Me: "Wait a minute, none of my service providers wish me well. WHO IS THIS!?"

A big red flag (in any government or industry) is when project leaders only hire young staffers. Young people don't have the experience to recognize normal practices from exploitation. If a staff doesn't have a mix of young and old, no one can warn the inexperienced employees when things seem askew.

Something I'm working on; I can be susceptible to the mindset of, "Wow, that's a bad take. Surely you don't mean to be so awful, if someone could just explain it to you..."

That's how I once got scolded on Twitter for sympathizing with a murder victim more than the murderer.

I don't miss Twitter.

🎶I wanna hippopotamus for Christmassssss!🎶

No, you don't. Are you insane? Why don't you ask Santa for something safer like a vial of strychnine or a blowtorch?
I have been doing entirely too much earnest posting about deep things recently, I need to do a proper thread about hippo testicles or something just to keep myself sane.

Oh by the way hippos have migratory testicles.

I have a comic in this anthology. Everyone should go get one so they can read it.
Hi! I put together a zine with a bunch of really lovely people. Unfinished Business features work representative of the things that haunt us and how we navigate and heal from them.

My interest in a retro video game greatly increases if I once saw the game in a comic book ad, but never got a chance to play it.

Those comic book ads really played the long game.

My 8-year-old niece got mad at me yesterday. She told me she was mad because I always let her look at cute bunny pictures online, but I have never once gone out and bought her a real-live pet rabbit.
Honestly, fair.

At work, my computer suddenly stopped acknowledging every third keystroke.

I just looked back at an email I was writing and thought I was having a neurological episode.

There is a small crack in my laptop, right below the screen. I just gave the screen a good cleaning a few days ago so it must have just happened. But for the life of me, I don't know when or how.
