More than 1,000 people submitted statements attesting to their losses…‘hardworking, everyday people,’ including small business owners, farmers, veterans, teachers and nurses.
“I lost my whole life savings,” one wrote, “I am living from check to check.”

And when you ask MAGA supporters about it, they brush it off as “trolling” or “just having fun.” It’s gotten so bad that some schools are now banning government websites as acceptable sources for research.

We’ve had people from the U.S. and abroad asking whether the information on the White House website is even accurate anymore. The site has become unreliable, filled with blatantly false and deliberately misleading content.

I’ll level with y’all, I wasn’t sure I was gonna even do Moevember this year. It’s been a tricky year personally and time is tight. I wasn’t sure it was worth spending so much time on something so silly and unprofitable.

Then I remembered: it’s ALWAYS worth spending your time on something so silly.

In short, a president can pause or limit certain categories of entry at the border, but he cannot use this law to rewrite immigration policy, eliminate statutory protections, or impose sweeping bans that conflict with other federal laws or the Constitution.

Actual study: Anthropic paid MIT to use a "labor simulation tool" that said 11.7% of TASKS could be done by AI
MIT study finds AI can already replace 11.7% of U.S. workforce
Artificial intelligence can already replace 11.7% of the U.S. labor market, across finance, health care and professional services, according to MIT's study.

The danger is not just for Venezuelans, it sets a precedent that any administration can engineer a foreign confrontation to justify suspending civil liberties, accelerating mass deportations, or targeting immigrant communities under the guise of “national security.” This all sounding familiar?

Lets explain how escalating/manufacturing a military confrontation with Venezuela gives the administration a legal “hook” to invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, one of the oldest national-security laws still on the books. This statute allows a president to detain, restrict, or deport non-citizens

There are flyers circulating and even mailers showing up in people’s mailboxes in Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District that list the wrong date for the upcoming special election. Voters are being told to vote on the incorrect day.

Calling Smilodon a "saber-toothed tiger" is a surefire way to annoy paleontologists, but consider the Tasmanian tiger. Other organisms to have "tiger" in their common names include salamanders, sharks, moths, and lilies. Suddenly, just being a felid seems close enough.

In case you’re wondering why Pete Hegseth is freaking out about a congressional video reminding the military not to participate in illegal orders:
To put a finer point on this whole thing: "Two people with direct knowledge of the operation" — presumably uniformed military leaders — are accusing the U.S. Secretary of Defense of personally ordering specific war crimes. That's a historic accusation.
Textbook war crime/extrajudicial killing

"Two survivors were clinging to the smoldering wreck. The Special Operations commander overseeing the Sept. 2 attack ... ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions."

A dragon with one head is just a dragon. Dragons with three or more heads is often called hydras (especially if the heads can regenerate), but is there a term for a two-headed dragon? 🤔🐲

(I'm going with "bidra" until further notice. 😉)
