I have just published a book on the philosophy of grief.

I'm not surprised, and if anything I hope the Tories and Labour take some time out to figure what their respective parties actually are. In the meantime, however, a lot of people's lives are going to be ruined.

Despite being a published author and poet I have no desire to be a self-publicist but no one else is going to do it for me and I can't afford to pay for ads. So. I dunno. I guess my work will just languish in obscurity, unobserved. You should read my stuff though. Please.

Bill Watterson's birthday today. Basically impossible to put into words what Calvin & Hobbes meant to this English kid with an overactive imagination and no real friends but I'll just say it was "a lot". The art is remains beautiful but the strip's sentiment (normal then) feels radical today.

I only said this yesterday but come on Bluesky, why are all the other nominees for the game awards trending but not Silksong? Maybe this site doesn't reflect my values after all...
I'm starting to enjoy Bluesky a lot more now. Probably because it better reflects my values and opinions. As @ultrabrilliant.xyz once said (on Twitter) that echo chambers are great, actually, "nae wanks".

I'll be honest, Silksong is the only one I've played, but if it doesn't win these awards mean nothing. Not just one of the best games I've played but one of the best pieces of media I've experienced.

This won’t even work as intended. The people objecting to refugees aren’t asking for people to have to stay longer and jump through more hoops before they’re naturalised. They point blank want anyone not exactly like them kicked out.

I met my wife and some of my best friends through Vine. Had some of the greatest times of my life because of that app. And even I think this a stupid and bad idea.
Vine is being rebooted under the name diVine, with funding from Twitter’s former CEO Jack Dorsey.

The new Steam Gamecube feels like an answer to a question no one asked. A bridge between console and PC that is basically the best and worst of both worlds. Along with xBox's collapse in the gaming sphere, being a happy console player means you have a lot fewer options today.
