Thank you, that’s amazing! We are going for combination with 16x expansion in early zebrafish embryos. So far, the bigger hurdles still seem to be in the expansion process itself (we have very skilled support here already). The probe didn’t get a chance to fail yet, so to speak 😅

Recently, Annika finished her bachelor thesis (via IAI / computer science) and Alica finished her student assistant position with us to transition to Diepold lab for a PhD at campus South. Soon, we can add our new postdoc recruit (once the contract is done) and new incoming MSc thesis students.

An applicant asked me a similar question in an interview yesterday, there it felt appropriate. I asked “what’s your goal with applying for this position?” Got a great answer, then “what would be your goal in hiring me? Why are you interested in my application?” I hope my answer was also good 😊
