I accidentally hit my ChatGPT Codex usage limit for the week. Come on, November 16. (I was mostly experimenting with fancy radar tracking and association algorithms like MHT and JPDA for fta-ais-live.obliscence.com.)

A new use of the AIS name field I haven't seen before, apparently warning ships about a LIVE FIRING EXERCISE.

I've been adding more features to my experimental ship tracking site. Now it shows ships with MMSI 999999999 which are not shown on almost any tracker, but is often used by warships.

Every American needs to know what is being done in the name of our safety and prosperity. I don't personally feel safer or more prosperous by torturing people, but Stephen Miller does.
A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

Border Patrol is the worst of a bad bunch.

There’s a lawsuit alleging inhumane conditions at the Broadview ICE facility, but it’s not enough. People doing this under government authority need to be charged.
He said that the agents would throw food at them to eat. The agents threatened to withhold food for a week and to beat him up if he didn't sign deportation papers. He said he saw others refuse and get beaten/receive no food. He signed because he was afraid.

What's the difference between Overpass Turbo and PIMINTO? Overpass Turbo is a Perl-flavored query language just for data in the OpenStreetMap database. PIMINTO knows what chillers, smoke stacks, and train cars look like from the air. It can also read, and you can show it example images.

I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this video.

I don’t know how we’ve gotten to the point where men in full balaclavas can abduct daycare teachers while they’re watching children.

But I do know that this isn’t sustainable. Abolish ICE. There is no way to reform this.
