Some of the fascists are talking about defending "western civilization." I suggest that we non-fascists and anti-fascists start using the phrase "human civilization." I think we humans will survive together or not at all. (Though how we will convert the fascists, I haven't a clue.)

The USA has had many, many wars, all based on lies, all of them illegal. Most current members of congress have been there long enough to share blame for some of the wars. That is, they are mass murderers. Vote for a third party candidate instead.

And here is the Saudi envoy to COP30 saying exactly the same thing.
I'm telling you: climate politics are unified around the lie that we can keep fossil fuels & still deal w climate anyway.

Some Democrats recently reminded the military that they are legally obligated to disobey any illegal orders they are given. But we've had many, many wars, all of them illegal, all of them based on bipartisan lies by congress. The plutocracy LIKES (and profits from) wars.
