Folks who need mutual aid are allowed to have fun. They're allowed to have joy. They need positive things in their lives that are more than just survival.

I didnt realize it wasnt obvious until a couple DMs, but folks who need mutual aid to survive ask for gift cards or wishlist items bc:
- low chance of affecting benefits negatively
- can get wants & needs without pulling from desperate survival fund
- alleviates spending while struggling guilt
