Mistborn are all in the 20-30hr range and Yumi and the nightmare painter is around 15 hrs and I think Tress is around 13

As much as I want to shout Stormlight at you may I suggest instead Mistborn? there are 3 for the first arc and they are a lot shorter and a good introduction to the cosmere. (alternatively if you don't want to start with a series there is Yumi and the Nightmare painter or Tress of the Emerald Sea)
