If I remember my RE correctly, Santa died for our sins - most of them that is, just not the TV schedulers’ yet.

This is why they don’t have don’t-drink-and-drive campaigns on at Christmas: everyone’s getting blasted at home as it’s the only way to endure the TV schedules.
