I'm not a driver and I'm not into cars at all so two questions:
1) Have car headlights become brighter lately? Or do drivers just not ever dip their lights anymore?
2) I see most cars have their headlights on during the day now too, is this standard now? Are the lights always on? Or is it choice?

I'm long long overdue a big reread of JL/JLI/JLE - a reading project for next year I reckon
It was all pretty spontaneous. No plan. No "Let's do funny superhero comics." The work just evolved naturally. Here's a look back from 2011:

In Pierre Boulle's novel of Planet Of The Apes the apes take over the world not in a violent revolution, like in the movies, but humanity had become so lazy and apathetic the apes just pushed them off their sofas and sat down in their place.
That seemed like satire back then.

That is a colossal amount of money for a scheme that promises so little in return.

Sad to hear that quintessential actor Jack Shepherd has died. It was great to see him recently in one of his major roles as Renfield in Dracula, to character roles in Budgie, Crown Court and countless other films and TV, his talent shone through. Rest in peace dear Jack.
