As the video notes, what we would now consider to be extremely cold was pretty average, decades ago – but climate change is also affecting the intensity and frequency of the storms that pull this cold air down from the Arctic. Which is why I call this “Global Weirding”!

Plug-in solar, also called balcony solar, are solar panels that connect to a standard power outlet. They supply power directly to your home. They are a plug and play way to reduce our reliance on the electric grid and lower your energy bill without the need for a permit. Last week, the Indiana University administration asked their student newspaper not to print any news stories in the Homecoming edition. When the faculty advisor refused, IU fired him and ended paper printing. So students at the Purdue paper printed the IU edition and drove it down to Bloomington!
