Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office members volunteered on December 13 to support The Salvation Army. Deputies and confinement officers staffed Red Kettle locations across the county on their own time, continuing a tradition since 2007. Donations support year-round services for those in need.

This sweet girl was living on the streets caring for her puppies. Officers safely brought Scraps and her pups to the shelter. Three puppies were adopted, and two were rescued by Warrick Humane Society. Now it’s Scraps’ turn to find her forever home. #RescueRoundup

In November, deputies completed 1,305 business and neighborhood checks, made 373 arrests, and served 304 warrants. More than 27,000 visitors passed through courthouse screening, where 14 weapons were detected.
