Sounds awesome! And still early but we're already chatting with the Semble folks about possible integration, e.g. ways to view Semble collections from Leaflet or ways to publish to Leaflet from Semble!

Good idea, we'll think about (1) but for sure want to add (2), hopefully pretty soon

Thanks! We'll have a way to publish standalone posts (like this one) on atproto very soon btw :)

Might find some interesting stuff searching here: leaflet-search.catabush.com

Hey, good question! Fully customizable url paths isn't something we have planned short term at least. We've seen more requests for pretty urls but would likely do something like rkey + title slug for now.

Might be possible to set up redirects via your domain registrar, if not a huge number?
Yeah, personally I am not a fan of semantic keys unless it's fundamental that they be so.

If/when we do slug customization it would probably be in the form of /rkey/slug or something similar

Make sense, we'd love to figure out a good solution here eventually, just a lot on the to do list :) Thanks!

On the list of ideas to consider! Tricky b/c we really like the creator configurable theming so prob don't want just one default dark mode override (seems there are browser extensions that can do that though)…but maybe either a theme variant or reader option could be cool!

File upload block could be cool! For now, we have an embed block (iframe), might work at least for some cases
November 8, 2025 at 7:23 PM
Yep, pretty close to making this possible! Right now standalone docs are basically like draft posts in publications, unlisted / just on our servers. We'll still have the same share edit + view link, but also a *publish to atproto* option soon.
November 8, 2025 at 7:17 PM
Huh, probably theme-dependent and looks like they generate a 'dark mode' automatically so not sure if there's an easy fix on our end. Easy to toggle off though yeah? Eventually maybe we can do a dark mode theme option in Leaflet.

Looks great! Excited to talk more with publishers of all shapes and sizes to explore ways we might collaborate ✨

Very cool! Let us know if you have any q's / feedback :)
November 7, 2025 at 10:17 PM
On our list, we'll get there soooooooon
November 7, 2025 at 5:51 PM
Thanks! Glad to answer any q's about Leaflet. And it's still early but want to call out that there's a lot of cool potential for interoperability / collaboration amongst different atproto apps exploring blogs & longform publishing :)

We do too! Just kind of a different thing from inline markdown links so we wouldn't want to automatically blockify them I don't think :)
November 7, 2025 at 5:37 PM
Yeah this one's been a bit of a thorn in our side. It stems from supporting nested subpages…which is cool *but* leads to scroll bar annoyance!

Compromise rn is if single page and bg/page are the same, published view scrolls regularly (eg: latenthomer.leaflet.pub/3m4hcfym3mk2p )

Thanks Joe! All fair requests. Fully custom styles would be cool but open a can of worms. But def things we can do with block types (e.g. image gallery) or display options. Publication enhancements also a good idea, basic nav + page links is one we like. Maybe a couple layout options like grid/list.
November 7, 2025 at 5:24 PM
Ha fair, we don't want to go full site builder, but probably some fun simple things we can do…like give the people a serif font, at least 😂
November 7, 2025 at 5:19 PM
Hi! We don't have proper delete support yet, but glad to do manually (just have to remove the domain record on our end) - DM or email us the domain & we can remove it so you can re-add on a different publication!

Thanks, great to hear! Reach out any time if you have q's or feedback for us 🙌✨

Hey! Should work to paste in md formatted links, just not typing directly (cmd-k to add link feels easier but maybe could add). They'll be inline, link blocks a separate thing.

Some community projects re: leaflet <> markdown too! e.g.:
