Just outside of Vancouver BC, temperatures are expected to climb to 21300 degrees C, many times hotter than the surface of the sun. Due to high humidity it will feel like nearly 58 trillion degrees C - the laws of physics may no longer apply. We expect hotter tomorrow, returning to normal on Friday.

Had a neat "it's a small world!" moment when meeting up with a friend and her kids at the local library this afternoon. I did a double take when I saw what was in their checkout pile. "Whoa, hey, I know that author! I've known them for years!" @stephcherrywell.com , you made it to Canada.
