After 40 days of a shutdown, the Senate deal does nothing to address the cuts to or cost of Americans’ healthcare.
That’s unacceptable.
I’ve been ready to work on and vote for a deal that ends the shutdown and makes life better for Oregonians, but that’s just not what this is.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social As someone who is of dual heritage and whose mum immigrated to the UK when I was five years old, I felt proud of being British for the first time in ages. Starmer has clarified his views and proven he isn't a populist who will be swayed away from his core values.
