President Trump’s tariffs have raised Americans' costs by nearly $1,200 this year.

Prices are higher than ever and paychecks aren’t keeping up. Oregonians can’t afford these chaotic economic policies.

I'm devastated by the news of the mass shooting at Brown University. Our kids shouldn’t have to live in fear of violence while at school.

My prayers are with the victims, their families, and everyone impacted.

With a proposal as impactful as the Detroit Lake drawdown, it's critical the community has a chance to speak up – that's why I requested the Army Corps give people more time to submit comments.

They received our letter, and set the new deadline for January 13th!
Potential changes to operations at the Detroit Dam could have impacts on drinking water quality for the surrounding area.

I wrote a letter asking for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to extend the period they are accepting comments from the community – everyone deserves to have their voices heard.

Oregon has one of the highest rates of youth and teen homelessness in the country, but too many of these children can’t get the support they need.

This week, I introduced the Homeless Children and Youth Act to fix the system and make sure all our kids can access a pathway out of homelessness.

This year, a drone delayed firefighters’ aerial response to the Flat Fire, putting our communities at unnecessary risk.

Today, I introduced the Wildfire Aerial Response Safety Act to make sure that next wildfire season, fire crews aren’t faced with obstacles when completing their life-saving work.

I’ve been sounding the alarm about the millions of Americans that will see healthcare costs rise if Republicans don’t take action & hold a vote, but still, nothing!

Oregonians shouldn’t have to choose between their prescriptions and putting food on the table.

Speaker Johnson needs to make a plan.

I called on Speaker Johnson to put a vote on funding for our rural schools on the Floor for a vote – last night, it happened, and it passed!

Now, it's time for the President to sign this into law and get the money flowing – our schools have been missing support for far too long.
Rural schools have lost out on millions of dollars because of a lack of action at the federal level.

That's the exact type of problem I came to Congress to fix. So this week, I demanded Speaker Johnson put a bill on the floor to help rural schools.

Next week, it's happening. Let's get it done.

As a mom getting ready for the holidays, I can tell you, costs are out of control – ESPECIALLY the surprise fees at checkout.

I've had it with the corporate greed – that's why I introduced the Junk Fee Prevention Act.

Did you know? Oregon is the #1 producer of Christmas trees in the country!

Over the weekend, I saw some of this year’s trees at Troop 127’s annual Christmas tree lot! 🎄

The "atmospheric river" is bringing heavy rain to Oregon over the next few days, putting us at risk of major flooding.

The Trump Administration failed to meet key wildfire prevention and brush cleaning goals this year, which puts our communities at risk.

I wrote to the Forest Service demanding answers for why this happened, and a plan going forward to make sure Oregonians stay safe.

Oregon City’s Farmers Market participates in the SNAP Double Up Bucks Program, which helps Oregonians put fresh & healthy food on the table while supporting local farmers.

It was great to visit and see all the local harvest – thanks Rachel and Jess for showing me around!

Today, I got the opportunity to attend Central Catholic High School’s annual Democracy and Action event.

I was glad to join this year to talk with the seniors about what a life in public service looks like, and how they can get involved!

Communities across the country are using a process called “pattern-zoning” to speed up the homebuilding process.

My bill, the Accelerating Homebuilding Act, will invest in this process to help increase the supply and lower the cost of housing. Learn more ⬇️

Too many companies have built businesses around misleading fees that confuse consumers and drive up costs.

As millions of Americans are choosing their health insurance plans for next year, they're seeing prices that are 26% higher.

Costs are high enough already – it's time for Speaker Johnson to come to the table and take action to protect healthcare.

I'm a parent of kids in their twenties, and, trust me, we're trying to get them off payroll.

But with the cost of housing being as high as it is, we're pricing the next generation out of homeownership.

The 62,000 Oregonians who use SNAP to put food on the table shouldn't be used as pawns in the President's political games.

This funding has already been signed into law – enough is enough.

If Republicans don’t act to protect the #AffordableCareAct, millions of Americans – and tens of thousands of Oregonians – will see their costs skyrocket.

I signed a petition to force a vote to protect the subsidies – ball’s in their court.
