I’m feeling good after a full 8 hours of sleep. I’ve worked really hard at learning to manage anxiety before stressful things, and I think I’m pretty good at it, but I’m just realizing in the last few years how my body responds once the “threat” is past. It doesn’t snap back to normal.

on Sunday, didn’t sleep well that night, then tried to remedy that with wine on Monday night. By Tuesday, I was an irritable wad of nerves. Better self care would have been a long walk on Sunday afternoon and going to bed early. Maybe one day I’ll learn. 🙄

Awww! Glad it’s passed without an outage. We have a similar dish draining pad but without the wire drainer on top. Bean likes to sit on it.

My husband hung the garland on the front door this year, and this time, I did not go behind him and “fix” it. It is what it is. It’s up. It’s festive. It’s good enough. Your cat is adorable!

It was definitely recorded, but they didn’t broadcast it live. I’m guessing that they want to edit the video before releasing it. It should appear in our YouTube channel in a few days.
