November 14 is World #Diabetes Day. I've been living with Type 1 diabetes since 1979, and it has affected every aspect of my life. When I was 12, I nearly died from diabetes complications. I'm so thankful that we have more treatment options now than we did when I was diagnosed. #ChronicIllness

I really loved everything about "Slayers of Old" by Jim C. Hines. It's a hilarious, fast-paced urban fantasy about a trio of retired heroes fighting an eldritch horror. With wonderful characters & found family, it's a surprisingly cozy story of cosmic horror. #Books #BookSky
