A moral stand in party politics is so rare to see. Like spotting a white squirrel, burrowing owl, or Sasquatch.

Ramping up industrial carbon pricing to "a minimum effective credit price of $130/tonne" is potentially a huge deal and the biggest silver lining here, but "ramp up" is doing a lot of heavy lifting in this MOU. Basically, #AB gets to pollute more now in exchange for speculative future reductions.

The doublespeak around achieving net-zero emissions and "unlocking the growth potential of Western Canada’s oil and gas" is dizzying.

I didn't realize their feathers weren't waterproof and hence all the "air drying" poses.
I call them "stealth birds" because they swim and dive so quietly...unless they're hunting in packs, which I see on the canal here in Ottawa in the early mornings, which is very neat.

For drains yeah, I push them aside to keep them free (with my boots. 😂), but gardens? You said they were blowing from their yard to bike lane...I just don't get why people are bothering. We know it's good for the wee creatures and birds to leave the leaves. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Either way. Who is bothering?! Nature's mulch! 🫠
