Cool, I now only have like 15 hours left to stress about whether I should take my full laptop with me on this trip or whether I can get away with just my phone & tablet! I deliberately haven’t packed so that I can’t overthink because time pressure! I love travel anxiety!

Spent half of today reading Call of Cthulhu modules and the rest desperately looking for a planner that has the same layout as the perfect one that I normally get that is out of stock. Standard first of the year.

I’m normally a very fast reader, but I’ve had one book that’s been kicking my ass this last month. I finally finished it…but it’s also the first in a trilogy. 😩 So now I have to decide if I’m going to force myself through 2 & 3 for completion’s sake, or if I just call it.

Going back to DOS2 after many, many hours of BG3 feels like picking up any other fantasy TTRPG after so long playing 5e - the inventory management is brutal and leveling is a nightmare but it also feels challenging in a way I’ve missed. 😅

I absolutely do not believe that my most listened song this year was a random ambient fantasy track with ONLY SIX PLAYS given how I hardcore repeat-listen to certain playlists that are definitively “car singalong” options.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a truly beautiful game, and based solely on how bad I am at dodging and parrying just within the tutorial fights is confirmation that I should never actually attempt a Souls game no matter how badly I want to. 😅
