Truly, from everything I've seen LLMs are always talking to you like a particularly desperate toady and I could not imagine wanting to spend one more second with such a person then I have to, so very weird that people want their chatbots to talk like that.

Generative AI deliberately removes this, entirely, from learning.

Authors, remember that you CAN insist on human translation for your foreign-language editions and have it written into your contracts. You can no longer just assume you're going to get a human to work on the book whose every word you wrote with intent.

The point is that NZ is safe. Their highest court has ordered that their government can NOT ban puberty blockers until after the court has heard a full case. Puberty blockers remain legal. Also, while this case was only preliminary, the court seems to be convinced by arguments against the ban.
