I have so many issues with how the baptismal covenant has become the central feature of our understanding of baptism. It’s gotten to the point where I feel it’s mildly pelagian where the effectual working of the sacrament isn’t God’s work in grace, but our “actioning” of the covenant

It’s confusing in Canada because the BAS omits that line, while the BCP is the full version. So you always have to scan to see what version you’re actually using… (though the right way is to say the full version anyway imo!)

Bridget don't be sad!! I know it *seems* ageist but actually these former priests are still equal in *dignity* to real priests. They just have a different role. But I find they are much happier after they stop denying their nature ☺️
