Not to put too fine of a point on it, the man who designed Vac Woman (design K) was outted as a rapist and overall vile person about 10 years ago, yet he somehow managed to come out of it relatively unscathed as a successful artist.

This was why I was always against the "no politics" blanket rule for VTubers. Because the politics of the real world affects us too, and we can and should use our platforms to address it.
