Jared Kushner acting as an unofficial agent of the U.S. government as well as of his father-in-law's business as well as of his own business just seems a lot worse than Hunter Biden lying to himself about being a drug addict. Where's the special counsel investigation of this?

I will not vote for any budget deal that gives more power and funding to Donald Trump so he can make life more dangerous and more expensive for American families.

Congress must restrict spending on forever wars overseas and stop ICE’s terror here at home.

Mike Johnson was covering up child rape a full year before Pam Bondi made it trendy.
The House Ethics Committee found that Matt Gaetz sex trafficked minors.

He raped minors.

He paid minors for sex.

And Mike Johnson kept the report sealed.

This was the man they wanted to be Attorney General.

…don’t you realize they’re covering for Trump?

Release the files.

I'm looking for witnesses/victims of DHS retaliation against people recording their agents (ICE, Border Patrol, FPS, etc) in North Carolina.

I focus on press, but victims do NOT need to be a journalist. Everyone has right to record.

Our friends @aclunc.bsky.social would also love to hear from you:

This is such an important point. This family tried to follow the rules.

The distinction is going to get more important when they start mass deporting the people whose TPS status Trump revoked. They’ll call them “illegal” too, even though they were here legally until Trump yanked the rug.
People are missing a big thing about the saga of the detained 5-year-old. When Vance calls the father an "illegal alien" it seems to reflect a little-known Trump admin move that attempts to nullify asylum claims before they are even heard.

This policy is a horror:

At no point have Trump officials sought to reassure Americans that there will be an impartial investigation of Renee Good's killing that builds confidence with stakeholders on all sides. Nor have officials meaningfully declared that they are willing to take active steps to avert future ICE killings.
On the money from @gregsargent.bsky.social: Vance "largely putting a softer face on Miller’s police state. And no one should let him get away with it."
In a normal administration, top officials express some concern with the victims of govt abuses. Vance blames them.

Trump’s ICE Goons Detained a 5-Year-Old. Then JD Vance Made It Worse.
Much of the media is treating the vice president’s Minneapolis visit as an attempt to lower the temperature. If anything, he raised it.

No exaggeration, it's the most astonishing act of solidarity I've ever seen.
there are a bunch of big names on this list, including multiple beard award winners, and some places i never would have guessed in a hundred years (the malt shop?!) and i'm genuinely floored and delighted to see so many participants

A hideous, unbelievable insult to our allies, who suffered a full third of the war dead in Afghanistan. And this from a soulless swine who knows everything about using his bone spurs to stay all the way back, entirely off the front lines.

Every day, he shames the United States as a nation.
Trump on NATO: "I've always said, will they be there if we ever needed them? That's really the ultimate test. I'm not sure of that. We've never needed them. They'll say they sent some troops to Afghanistan and this or that. And they did. They stayed a little back, off the front lines."
