I'm glad bsky's translation feature literally just opens up Google Translate so then I'm reminded that Jamaican Patois is a language option and it makes reading skeets from overseas way more entertaining

who do we have to fund to get a Flash-type editor for web interactivity again. i think the biggest issue with interactive web content these days is that it's just harder to make. Haxe and Godot can both export for HTML5 but it's way harder to make something in that compared to what Flash let you do

This is sad to see. LD is probably single-handedly responsible for my ability to work quickly. Never really got good at designing games through it, but it (and its community) were invaluable for getting better at programming. I miss hanging out in their IRC
The fantastic game jam @ludumdare.com is sadly not running any events in 2025 as host Mike Kasprzak is struggling financially.
