I have to admit I calibrated my expectations on Badenoch wrong. I thought she'd struggle but I didn't think she'd be so staggeringly inept at the absolute basics of the job.

We've had an early announcement from the upcoming Strategic Defence Review.

An additional £1.5bn is to be invested in repairs and renewal of forces family housing.

It means over £7bn will be spent on this across the Parliament.

Labour also brought 36,347 forces homes into public ownership in Dec.

Record additional funding for forces family housing to tackle state of accommodation, and builds on the Defence Consumer Charter to transform living conditions for service families.

Trump announces his tariffs, which are (somehow?) related to the trade barriers other countries are imposing on the U.S.

But...
THE NUMBERS HE'S PRESENTING BEAR NO RELATION TO REALITY.

It would be absurd to call these reciprocal tariffs. They're grievances.
