A lot of the auction would depend on how others (mainly the IPL ones) make UPW lose their purse. If they aren't clever with that & try to save money for say 13th one,then it might hurt them because UP would have too much money to get that player that you want. #WPL 🏏

Interesting press conference from Arteta. Really intent on not allowing anyone to get carried away, those of us in the room as much as anyone. Said Bayern are "the best team in Europe" and really didn't want to engage with the idea of what that might make Arsenal.

Would have been a terrific day if not for Trossard injury. But hopefully it's not something too serious. Noni was superb after he came on. Eze, Declan, Saliba, all putting terrific performances.
