Arsenal this summer took a different approach to squad building and while it is still early, it already looks like it is paying dividends and has seen a change in the patterns from what Mikel Arteta did previously.

Is Mikel Arteta starting to crack rotation?

Fixture congestion being a problem feels like it might be a thing of the past. The 2025/26 squad depth can turn this from a weakness to a strength.

I’m soliciting questions from you all. What you got? What’s the hottest take you’ve got about Arsenal right now?

An international break mailbag request. What questions would you have for Adam and me, We're going to use these for the podcast and probably even the Friday newsletter this week (maybe if there are enough, I'll push Adam to write about it and send that out too).

All the early season international breaks kill the early momentum of the season. I am so ready for this to be over. It will be fun to do this again in a few weeks.

It's a bit quieter on this front after some of the stress early in the season.

It is not a hard rule that players only have 30-35k minutes but that is very often where things end up for players (who are good enough to even last that long).

This topic came up on the Discord from discussion on the Transferflow pod.

It was more about other players and the minutes load but it was a good excuse to dig into and talk about Saka more.

Florian Wirtz - 2025-26 Attacking Midfielder radar

It's way too early to be drawing conclusions but not having him hit the ground running is certainly a major factor in why Liverpool have looked just good and not great.

I thought he'd take up more progression to replace TAA and it just hasn't

It is interesting that the model hates Chelsea (relative) and loves Newcastle. Also not bought into Crystal Palace and Bournemouth.

It is also putting Arsenal >50% for the first time this season.
