This was asked in the CannonStats discord, here is how things stand now based on how the result of this City vs Liverpool match goes.

Either team winning isn't something that changes really for Arsenal (obviously changes for that team). A draw the best for Arsenal but that doesn't look likely.

Granit Xhaka, Performance

Arsenal did a good job to not let the ex-Arsenal man do much or really impact the game here.

His only "highlight" was yelling at Merino after he fouled him and bringing back that even though his reputation was rehabbed after leaving, why I often disliked him at Arsenal

Average touch locations and passing networks broken out by quarter of the match.

Got a bit too deep late for my taste.

Saka had looked like he was playing within himself quite a bit since coming back from injury. Here he looked much more like THE GUY we want and know he can be.

He put the team on his back in the second half.

Sunderland vs Arsenal Deserve to win-o-meter

Sunderland 2 (0.9)-(2.0) 2 Arsenal

A very annoying game. A couple of mistakes from Arsenal and not enough energy to see it out after a great fight back.

You’ll never guess who was judged to have committed the foul here.

Playing around with something new here. This is looking at how teams' Goals for and against compare to their xG.

I went with the highlighting of teams to try and make it a bit easier to see

Premier League Injury Situation heading into round 11

Arsenal are in the midst of one of the tougher injury situations right now. Hopefully, after this round, players will start returning and they can try and keep this from repeating.

This is a big weekend for Manchester City and Liverpool. An Arsenal win at Sunderland with dropped points from one/both has the potential to really open up the gap.

An early look at Eze in the '10' role - He's not Odegaard but he's doing it in his own way. There is room for improvement and as he adapts I am sure we will see it.

Let's dig into the stats here. www.cannonstats.com/p/an-early-l...

Premier League Strength of Schedule Adjusted numbers.

Manchester City's numbers take the biggest hit here, adjusting for the strength of opposition. West Ham would get the biggest boost.
