OMGOODNESS I just saw the visuals for the Class 897 trains that'll top up the east coast mainline fleet, and they are BEAUTIFUL!
Took me a while to figure out why I liked the look, but I realised, the nose is styled to be reminiscent of the A4 steam locos!

as a kobold who started identifying as one before I even knew what a dragon was, it's very hard to cope with the idea that to some people, the identity comes with the cultural stereotype.
