Why doesn’t Ohio provide the same assistance 30 other states do to help people appeal denials of healthcare coverage?
Few patients appeal a health insurance denial, but a little-known process that requires insurers and plans to seek an independent opinion can force insurers to pay for what can be lifesaving treatment.

Here’s what experts say you need to know.
This Little-Known Appeal Could Force Your Insurer to Pay for Lifesaving Care. Here’s How to File It.

These men are once again espousing a culture of death: Patients who are sick don’t have the luxury of shopping around for cancer care or their heart procedures.

In 2024, Tierra Walker was sick and getting sicker. She was also pregnant.

She knew abortion was illegal in Texas, but thought there was an exception for women like her, whose health was at risk. Doctors told her there was no emergency.

Then she died.

No one plans to be sick, but it happens.

Many hard-working people are a sickness away from financial ruin.

That’s why healthcare cannot be just a source of profit.

That’s where the ACA comes in. It’s worth defending!

Trump‘s brilliant plan of 50 year mortgages means that after your first 20 years making huge interest payments to a bank you will have paid down almost none of the principal and they will still own the house you are living in with 30 years to go. A scam from a career con man.

I’ve come to believe that we need to gather considerable forces and a campaign to demand the removal of face masks by ICE, Border Patrol, FBI and police.

It is a practice in conflict with the principles of transparency & accountability that are central to the concept of democracy.
Video on social media shows an immigration agent pulling a gun in Little Village and holding it to the side — which is not an appropriate or safe way to hold a gun. (Among other issues.)

Sadly, this is true.

During 47’s first term, he tried to take away my daughter’s right to healthcare insurance without discrimination while she had cancer. McCain’s no note stopped that.
But few of 47’s followers in Congress will stand up for others now.
Senate Dems, do not cave. Ensuring healthcare premiums don’t surge is an 80-20 issue. They want to gut the ACA because their disdain for Obama far outweighs their concern for anyone’s health.
